SALA 4. BOCA-CUERDAS VOCALES. HABLA-RELATO-LENGUAJE.

En este espacio de exhibición se construyen los contenidos y medios de expresión a través de la boca, en tanto parte del cuerpo que condensa vivencias ligadas al erotismo, la alimentación y el lenguaje. En efecto, la obra de Klaudia Kemper subraya la articulación estrecha entre estas funciones, al concebir la boca como el órgano que le da materialidad física, mediante la voz, al relato hablado, la narración y los símbolos con que lo humano explica su arbitrario aparecer. Así, una entrevista realizada a la astrónoma chilena María Teresa Ruiz le permite a la artista recrear flujos verbales que relatan, de forma diferida en el tiempo, las paradojas que traman nuestras ideas de la vida. Este texto poético se acompaña de imágenes que muestran personas y contextos registrados por la artista en sus distintos viajes. Ambas situaciones traman un mito contemporáneo cuya fuerza expresiva logra re-establecer un espacio de ficciones que pueda contener las preguntas que hoy acosan al sujeto y su cambiante mundo social.

HALL 4. MOUTH-VOCAL CORDS. SPEECH-NARRATION-LANGUAGE.

This exhibition space works with the construction of those contents and modes of expression related to the mouth, a part of the body that condenses experiences linked to eroticism, nourishment and language. In fact, Klaudia Kemper´s work highlights the close articulation between these functions, by understanding the mouth as the organ that gives, through the voice, a material reality to oral narration and the symbols with which humanity explains the randomness of its emergence. An interview with Chilean Astronomer María Teresa Ruiz, makes it possible for the artist to reenact the verbal flows that give an account of the paradoxes that intertwine our ideas of life. This poetic text is accompanied by images showing people and contexts registered by the artist in her many travels. Both situations weave a contemporary myth with enough expressive force to reestablish a fictional space that contains the questions haunting us today as subjects in an ever changing world.
