SALA 3. PIES-PIERNAS-MÚSCULOS. DESPLAZAMIENTOS.

Las extremidades inferiores del cuerpo humano son los miembros encargados de conectar al hombre con la materialidad del mundo, pero también son aquello que permite su humanidad erguida y posibilita su encuentro cara a cara con el otro. Así, son órganos del movimiento que hacen de la vida una experiencia abierta a los cambios y las transformaciones. En el trabajo de Klaudia Kemper, estas nociones se materializan en obras de video donde prevalecen vivencias vinculadas al viaje, el movimiento, la temporalidad, el espacio público y la diversidad de los mundos sociales. En su conjunto y a través de figuras que evocan zonas de tránsito y umbrales de paso, estas experiencias biográficas se desplazan al contexto social, logrando conectar las narraciones íntimas que traman su vida con las dimensiones políticas que organizan nuestra realidad global.

HALL 3. FEET-LEGS-MUSCLES. MOVEMENT.

The lower limbs of the human body are in charge of connecting man with the material world, they are responsible for its upright humanity and make possible a face to face encounter with the other. Thus, they are movement organs that make life an experience open to changes and transformations. In Kemper´s work, these notions materialize as video artworks in which experiences linked to travel, movement, time, public space and the diversity of social worlds prevail. As a whole and aided by elements that evoke transit zones and passage thresholds, these biographical experiences are displaced to a social context, connecting the intimate narrations that weave their lives together with the political dimensions that organize our global reality.
